The goal of the Bright Lights ministry is discipleship—training young ladies to be mature believers in Christ, faithfully shining their light. An important and often overlooked part of discipleship is the accountability, mentoring, and edifying fellowship that usually happens best in a one-on-one setting.

4:12 is an eight week course designed for this specific purpose—to help older girls or mothers and younger girls spend one-on-one time together studying God’s Word, discussing important areas of life, committing to pray for each other, and holding each other accountable in Scripture memory and other disciplines and projects. The name 4:12 comes from Ephesians 4:12, Colossians 4:12, and I Timothy 4:12—three verses which really sum up the goal of this discipleship course.

The 4:12 booklets include eight Bible studies and weekly accountability sheets. Also included are instruction sheets for the older girl or mother to help to guide them through the study.
