Bright Lights E-mail Account Lost

IMG_5489

Pictured here is my computer hard drive in the freezer. It died last week and Stephen tried everything he could think of to get it to work again (including freezing it) but nothing worked…it’s gone.
We’re thankful that many files were backed up elsewhere, but we did lose my whole e-mail account from the past 6 months–which includes all of the Bright Lights e-mails.
If you’ve been trying to contact us recently please e-mail again! Thank you!

  1. Oh, no, Grace!!!!! That’s awful!! I haven’t tried to email you recently but I’ve saved all of the BL emails you, Sarah, or Nickie have sent me, in case you’re trying to find something… 🙂

  2. Sorry to hear that! I also have all the emails I have received from you all, so I can send any that you need…

Did you try “spinrite” by any chance? That has saved a few of our hardrives after similar problems. I don’t know if you still have the hard drive, but it may be worth looking into.

    In Him,

    Carissa

  3. Oh, Grace, I know what a dissapointment this must be! But I’m glad to hear that you were able to recover some of the data.
Praying for you all! Love you!

  4. This has nothing to do with the post. But your conferences do you have Radiant Purity ones on Friday and Saturday and Strong in the Lord ones in the week? Or do they vary? Thanks:)

  5. Hi Desiree,
We usually do the “Strong in the Lord Conference” on Tuesday night and Wednesday and the “Radiant Purity Conference” on Friday night and Saturday. But sometimes we reverse the order.

  6. I’m sorry about your e-mail problems, Grace, and I hope you are able to find everything you need!
    Blessings,
    ~Annie~

  7. Grace,
I have a quick question for you…I was wondering what your thoughts are on halloween and what you are planning on doing this year. Do you witness or not do it at all, or something else? Just wondering! Thanks so very much, Grace!

    Joyfully in Jesus,
    Elizabeth

  8. Elizabeth,
Yes–last year, Sarah, Nickie and I went witnessing on a collage campus on the afternoon of Halloween (and half way through I realized I was wearing orange and black…oops! 🙂 ) and that went well.
In the past, we’ve passed out tracts with candy to kids who came to our door, but in recent years we’ve stopped doing that, just because we didn’t want to give the testimony to our neighbors that we were supporting Halloween. So usually we turn the lights off and just do something else. But I do think it’s a great idea to use the day to be a witness!

    God bless!
    Grace
